If you are afraid of the truth and unprepared for the realness that I speak then you should not proceed. Now, I am obviously a Detroiter, but that is not the only reason I ride for my city. The fact that I am Loyal is what makes me continue on the way I do. There are Millions of people from here and living here in Detroit and plenty of you could give a Rats Ass about what is going on. Ok, we all know about the violence, the crime, and the disrupted politics but there’s more to be said and more things that need to cease. This is the home of the Automobile and the home of music, but just because they developed that title back then does not give us the right to expect gratitude and automatic recognition. (I'm going to get back to the music in an upcoming Blog) anyway... A lot of you people have failed to realize the need for value. Such followers! It's only cool on Twitter. Seriously when are you going to start thinking for you? I am tired of seeing people talk about what they want to do and what they are capable of when in reality the substances of which they are speaking are irrelevant. So what you pop bottles and eat Sushi in the suburbs. So what you have the most friends on Facebook. What are you going to do with that? Stand up, if not for anyone else at least for yourself. Living in a tainted world where everyone wants to be on top, that’s fine but consider whether or not you're stepping on those on the bottom. "I'm gettin out the hood", "I wanna move somewhere else" that's cul. But if Detroit made you, give back. Often times vendors and celebrities from other places come to Detroit, set up shop, make money and dip. They take it right back home and take pictures of their rewards for you to look at and desire. Causing you to want to kill for the things YOU helped them GET. Where is the sense in that? Don't mistake what I'm saying as hating or discouraging the success of anyone but look around you. There is talent in Detroit; there are people in the city worth the try. And the people who are praised, usually half-ass give a damn about you. You want respect, you want a following, you want privileges... earn them! Yes! I said it. How is it that Jeezy and Wayne sell out shows at Chene Park, Fox theatre, etc. 3 times a year but our own celebrities (yea I said celebrities not hood stars) can't sell out the damn Art Theatre? You don't respect your DJ's, Artists, Designers, Writers, Entrepreneurs. I have personally been out of town and seen some of the most underrated people go to bat for us! Recognize them appreciate them... us! I for one am sick of these Pump Fakin’ Ass Detroiters!
